Pannkakshuset

    On the 20th of July we ate pancakes. Arne had planned to take us to Pannkakshuset after lunch and after having eaten a superb lunch prepared by him, we finished, eating pancakes and ice cream. A real treat for a very summer afternoon.

Gathering in Sweden

Last saturday I took a plan to Sweden to join a family party. It was wonderful. Meeting everyone was great. Bodil and Håkan were the perfect hosts.

Going to Småland is always magical. I love the place and I always will.

10 years in Celler de Can Roca

It has been 10 years since Jakob and I got married. We love each other and I feel that I have the best partner imaginable to share my life with. Life, with good and bad moments, it is always better with you.

And now, the food! Yes. We made it. We were able to get a reservation in Celler Can Roca, which was voted, this year, the world's best restaurant in a poll coordinated by Restaurant Magazine. Luckily, we made the reservation before the award...

The experience was beyond my expectations. We chose the festival menu with wire pairing and it was more than perfect. The flavours, the textures and the presentations were unique and marvellous. Though, difficult to reproduce this at home, an experience to remember. And, I felt so comfortable during dinner. The staff are superb.

Mel i mató

Unfortunately, I cannot get mató in Cambridge, so when I am in Catalunya, if I can, I eat it every day. Mató is a fresh cheese made from cows or goats milk without salt. Combined with honey results in a simply and delicious dessert.
